for Safety Excellence
This program was designed for management and
supervisory positions. It enables supervisors to build safety and health into
their everyday planning - making safety a daily part of their supervisory function.
Communication skills are stressed and practised.
Seminar Content:
- To define the supervisor's role
- To explain the supervisor's responsibilities for ensuring safety on the worksite
- Provide the knowledge required to satisfy the legal duties
and responsibilities
of a supervisor under the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
Length of Course:
Two days of training (16 hours)
Prerequisites:
None, however this course is required to achieve COR™ status.
Course Content:
The course is divided into four half-day modules supported by lectures, manuals,
workshops, and regulatory information.
