Confined
Space
Workers and contractors continue
to enter and work in confined spaces while untrained, improperly
equipped and/or with no program in place. Untrained workers often
do not know or fully understand the possible dangers of working
in a confined space.
Being knowledgeable about
confined space is the only defence against the risk of a confined
space accident or worst, a fatality.
Confined space entry rescues
can only be performed by persons trained in confined space work
methods and equipment. (The 16hr Confined Space Entry course is required in order to entre any confined space)
