Online Training

Receive valuable safety training at your convenience with ONLINE training. This training format uses your own computer and is available to you at any time of the day or night!!  It is fully interactive with the participant and includes a combination of live-action video, high-end graphics, dramatic real-life situations, and a computer-generated comprehensive test.

Upon passing the final course test with 60% or higher each participant will receive a certificate of awareness which verifies successful completion.  If you are employed in the Manitoba construction industry, you may also request your free personalized Safety Passport.

**NOTE: the following courses require an additional performance evaluation.

- Aerial Lifts - 2 Part Process

*Aerial Lift Platform training requires both a theory and practical component.  This online training course will cover the theory part, with the practical component done by your employer.  Your supervisor, or authorized representative of your employer MUST also evaluate your competency (Aerial Lift Evaluation form) to operate the specific aerial lift you will be using.  As per legislation, ONLY your Employer can issue you a certificate of competency.

- Forklift Certification - 2 Part Process

*Forklift Certification requires both a theory and practical component.  This online training course will cover the theory part, with the practical component done by your employer.  Your supervisor, or authorized representative of your employer MUST also evaluate your competency (Forklift Evaluation form) to operate the specific forklift you will be using.  As per legislation, ONLY your Employer can issue you a Forklift Certification.

How to use the Online Training Course(s):

Step 1 Click on the Online Training course link above.

Step 2:  If you are a New User to the system, click on New User.

Step 3:  Assign yourself a User ID and Password and continue to enter all information required including your Credit Card Payment.

Step 4:  Click Submit and you will be taken directly to the online courses. 

Step 5 Select the course you wish to take.  Courses may take up to 1 hour.  If you need to exit out of the course but you have not completed the whole course, you can exit and log back in with your same User ID and Password.  Click on the Return to Bookmark option and it will take you to the place you left off.

HOW TO PRINT/RE-PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE

Step 6:  Once you have successfully Mastered the course and want to print your certificate follow the instructions below:

  • Sign back into your profile account with your Login and Password
  • On the home page under APPLICATIONS, MY OPTIONS, choose MASTERED CERTIFICATES
  • In the drop down box where it says -NONE- choose CSAM Customization Site  then the screen will flash and refresh then you will choose YOUR COURSE from the second drop down box. From there you will have an option to PROCESS REPORT and that will open the certificate you will be able to print.

Step 7:  Once you have completed the course, you will be billed $20.00+GST for each successfully completed course. *Payments are processed every Monday*
