Safety Administration

This one day course is designed to provide the participant with knowledge for effectively managing and monitoring a health and safety management system.

(Pre-requisite for this course are all four COR™ courses. This course is intended as wrap-up course before the CSO exam)

Course Objective:

  • Analyze health & safety related data to help identify trends.
  • Interpret roles & responsibilities outlined in W210.
  • Provide knowledge & guidance to effectively manage & monitor a safety management system.

Course Content:

  • Assist in the management role of a construction health and safety system .
  • Organization and maintainance of safety program documentation.
  • Analyze safety data to help in the identification of safety trends.
  • Assistance with making justifiable recommendations to management with regard to expanding the health and safety management system.
  • Discuss/distinguish the roles and responsibilities of each person under the Workplace Safety & Health Act and Regulation 217/2006.

Certificate will be issued upon course completion.
