With the province’s announcement to reopen some services and businesses as of May 4, the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba is also preparing to return to job sites and classroom training.
In the coming days, we will announce our plans to resume regular operations while continuing to follow physical distancing and hygiene protocol.
While more people will be returning to work, it’s still important to remember the pandemic is not over and employers should take all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of workers. Workers should continue to physically distance where possible and practice good personal hygiene. It’s important to post signage at job sites or workplaces to highlight these protocols and to ensure customers do not enter a business if they are experiencing COVID-like symptoms.
CSAM has a variety of FREE COVID-19 posters and signs available for YOUR workplace. The Winnipeg Construction Association also has locally produced hand sanitizer available for purchase.
