CSAM Registered Auditor Program

A company self-audit must be submitted by a CSAM Registered Auditor. A registered auditor is a recognized and specially trained individual who is qualified to assess an employer’s safety and health management system.

Items required for registered auditor application submission include the following:

  • Completion of the Registered Auditor Application.
  • Verification of attendance in Principles of Safety Management/Simplified Safety and Safety Auditor.
  • Submission of a completed audit instrument and required supporting documentation.
  • Submission of a corrective action plan including a corrective action plan for the assignment of responsibility, and implementation dates for corrective actions.

A CSAM Registered Auditor certificate with a three-year expiry date will be issued upon successful evaluation and approval. Registered Auditors must submit one self-audit every three years to maintain their registered auditor status.
