Workplace Safety & Health Representatives

Legally, every employer on every jobsite must have a designated worker safety representative familiar with their legal duties and responsibilities. Do you know what is happening on your work site? Do you know what you should be doing?
SAFETY REP. AWARENESS WORKSHOP – Your Construction Safety Association of Manitoba has implemented a new four-hour training course for safety representatives and health and safety committee members. This half-day workshop deals with:
- what a safety representative is (and isn’t);
- when a safety representative is required;
- when a safety committee is required;
- responsibilities and duties of representatives and committee members;
- hands-on exercises to familiarize reps with their duties
Brandon – Thursday, September 13 8:30 a.m. – 11:59 a.m.
Winnipeg – Tuesday, September 18 8:30 a.m. – 11:59 a.m.
Cost is $25.00 per person
