The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba recently played host to the launch of a new initiative from SAFE Work Manitoba called SAFE Work on Wheels.
This innovative platform is a mobile and interactive safety unit that is available to travel the province conveying safety and health awareness to personnel at their workplace or safety event.
CSAM Executive Director Mike Jones views SAFE Work on Wheels as a different approach to bringing safety and health awareness directly to workers in the field.
“This is a convenient way of getting the safety and health message out there,” says Jones. “I believe everyone who takes part in the presentation will benefit from the safety and health awareness information offered by SAFE Work on Wheels.”
The SAFE Work on Wheels unit offers safety awareness demonstrations on eye protection, heavy lifting, hand safety and fall protection.
