- Dump truck (84-88 dBA)
- 88 dBA – 4 hours
- Crane (78-103 dBA)
- 91 dBA – 2 hours
- Backhoe (85-104 dBA)
- 94 dBA – 1 hour
- Dozer (89-103 dBA)
- 97 dBA – 30 minutes
- Belt sander (93-104 dBA)
- 100 dBA – 15 minutes
- Pneumatic nail gun (98-101 dBA)
- 103 dBA – 7.5 minutes
- Concrete saw (97-103 dBA)
- 106 dBA – 3 min, 45 sec
- Compactor (90-112 dBA)
- 109 dBA – 1 min, 50 sec
- Grinder (106-110 dBA)
- 112 dBA – 1 minute
- Jackhammer (100-115 dBA)
- 115 dBA – 30 seconds
- Riveter; sandblasting nozzle (111-117 dBA)
- 118 dBA – 15 seconds
- Pavement breaker (98-120 dBA)
- 121 dBA – 7.5 seconds
- Pile driver (119-125 dBA)
