As Manitoba continues its cautious loosening of public health restrictions, the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) has begun to welcome clients back into classroom training courses. In addition to proper physical distancing, enhanced sanitation, and rigorous hygiene protocols, a new body temperature scan confirms participants do not have a fever. Wearing of a mask is also a requirement for participants in our Construction Education Centre.
Our offices have always remained open to serve our clients, however CSAM will be restricting in-person meetings to critical scenarios only. CSAM safety advisors have also resumed site visits to help ensure that Manitoba’s construction sites are running as safely as possible.
CSAM has prepared a series of protocols for all of the above scenarios so that our employees and clients know what to expect while Manitoba remains at the critical (red) level of the pandemic response system:
- CSAM Office Procedures – Best Practices
- Construction Education Centre – Best Practices
- CSAM Site Visits – Best Practices
Many of our online and digital resources remain available to you, such as the online audit tool and CSAM App. We will also continue to offer some of our popular classroom training courses as live virtual online courses. You can view our full list of training dates here.
If you have any questions about the above procedures or about accessing CSAM’s services at the present time, please call us at 204-775-3171 in Winnipeg or 204-728-3456 in Brandon.
