PLEASE NOTE: CSAM has received new information from the Province of Manitoba and as of September 28 will NOT be capping classes at nine participants. Please read our more recent update here.
As of Monday, September 28, Winnipeg and some surrounding areas will be moved into the restricted (orange) level of the Pandemic Response System.
Under these elevated restrictions, masks will be mandatory in all indoor public places, and gatherings will be restricted to 10 people, both indoors and outdoors.
This means classroom training at the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba’s Winnipeg location will be affected in the following ways:
- Class sizes will be restricted to a maximum of nine participants.
- Masks will be mandatory for all public spaces of our Construction Education Centre.
Fortunately, the majority of our classroom training is also available as live, online virtual training. If you are registered for a course, and would like to move to our virtual training option, please contact our Training & Program Coordinator at marla@constructionsafety.ca. Spaces for classroom training participants will be held in the order of registration, so if you do not wish to move to our in virtual training, we will have to move participants to alternate course dates based on the time of registration.
Course participants will be directed to stay home and seek medical attention should they recognize these possible symptoms. To help facilitate this, we are offering full refunds for anyone who has registered for a course or event at CSAM but feels unwell.
CSAM will have disposable masks available for anyone attending in-person training courses. If you have any further questions, please contact us at 204-775-3171.
