Workplace Safety & Health Committee or Representatives participate in an organization’s safety program including hazard recognition activities, Tool Box talks, investigations, meeting minutes and recommendations for improving safety on the jobsite. This is a resource page to help your committee/ representative support the development a safe and healthy workplace.
Course Length: Half day (4 hours) This course comes complete with a certificate of training. ***We recommend that you bring a current copy of the WSH Act & Regulation to highlight and reference information. A classroom copy will be provided for in class use only.*** What’s happening on your work sites? What should you be doing? Legally, every employer must have on each of their job sites a designated safety representative who is familiar with their legal duties and responsibilities. This workshop is specifically tailored to the roles of the site worker safety representatives. Learn guidelines and practical solutions to your legislated responsibilities for safety and health concerns on the job site.
