Asbestos Awareness – Interlake

Participants will learn the origin of asbestos, the different types of asbestos, and the typical uses of asbestos in construction. This workshop will include an awareness of the hazards of exposure to asbestos, an introduction to the relevant provincial regulations concerning asbestos, the importance of an asbestos inventory and asbestos control plan, and an awareness of the emergency situations related to asbestos.
