The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) is headed back to The Pas and Thompson this January to provide six in-person safety training courses that are critical to Manitoba workplaces.
The following courses will be offered January 17 and 18 in The Pas and January 19 and 20 in Thompson:
- Safety Skills for Supervisors (full day)
- Fall Protection (full day)
- WHMIS 2015 (half day)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (half day)
- Safety Representative and Committee Training (half day)
- Hazard Identification and Risk Control (half day)
As the training will be held in-person, CSAM will be adhering to — and exceeding — all government guidelines to allow for proper physical distancing and enhanced sanitization and hygiene requirements.
All courses will be held at the University College of the North (UCN) campus. As per UCN policy, valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for all individuals entering a UCN facility.
Half-day courses cost $30 per course, and full-day courses cost $60 per course. Lunch is provided for those participating in full-day or both morning and afternoon half-day courses.
