Fall Protection & Rescue

Course Length: One day (8 hours)

This course familiarizes attendees with provincial legislation and requirements regarding fall protection. The content ensures participants know what systems are required and how to rescue staff in case a fall in a workplace occurs.

Content includes surface protection, barriers, fall arrest systems and equipment and harnesses. The rescue component covers time constraints, suspension trauma, orthostatic intolerance and a variety of equipment and techniques to deal with a suspended worker.
