Join the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba and the University of Manitoba for a lunch and learn about the new return to work benchmarking tool.
The amount of support and practices available at a managerial level affects how well a construction company can accommodate injured employees. The University of Manitoba, Construction Safety Association of Manitoba, Manitoba Heavy Construction Association WORKSAFELY™, and Merit Contractors Association of Manitoba have partnered to conduct research and to provide Manitoba’s construction industry with free, accessible, web-based tools to support continuous improvement of injury management and return to work framework.
Construction companies can create a profile and complete a survey regarding their own return to work programs. The results of the survey will help companies understand the effectiveness of their current return to work programs, compare other participants' results, and lead them to tools and resources developed through the research group to help improve injury management and return to work programs.
