About Our Presenters
Curtis Unfried, Partner, MLT Aikins LLP. Born and raised in the bustling metropolis of The Pas, Curt has been practicing in the Litigation Department of MLT Aikins LLP for the past 26 years. During this period of time, he has advised and defended clients on a wide range of fronts, including: regulatory compliance, civil litigation, commercial litigation and professional discipline. A particular focus of his practice is in the area of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) law.
Jennifer Sokal, Associate, MLT Aikins LLP. Jenn is a litigator practising both in the areas of administrative and regulatory law and in general litigation. A particular focus for Jennifer is also in the area of OHS law. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, all levels of Court in Manitoba, the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench, the British Columbia Supreme Court and various tribunals and administrative bodies, including the Manitoba and Alberta Labour Boards.
