The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) is pleased to announce that the next Environmental Safety in Construction course date is scheduled for Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at CSAM's main office in Winnipeg.
This one-day training course is structured around growing environmental safety issues in and solutions for the construction industry.
This course has been developed in conjunction with the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association, supported by CSAM’s Advisory and Divisional Committees, and structured by industry experts that represent different areas of environmental safety in construction. Course content includes hazardous materials handling, storage and disposal; WDG (recycled, landfilled, asbestos, C&D waste); Petroleum storage; when to report a spill (and to who); TDG regulations; contaminated sites legislation; and industrial hygiene.

The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba’s Environmental Safety in Construction course is applicable for the Canada-Manitoba Job Grant - meaning that employers are eligible to apply for a grant to assist with training costs.
