Registration is now open for western Manitoba’s premier safety conference, the Westman Safety Conference, happening April 8 at the Clarion Hotel and Suites Brandon.
This one-day safety conference, hosted by the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) and Manitoba Heavy Construction Association WORKSAFELY™, offers occupational safety and health education and training for all industries, with interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and customized training materials.
“Whether you are a worker, supervisor, safety professional, manager, or owner, the Westman Safety Conference will have an impactful session for you,” says CSAM Executive Director and conference Co-Chair Sean Scott. “We take pride in providing you practical solutions for safer workplaces and are proud to deliver this conference for the Westman area of our province.”
This year’s conference offers 11 courses, with topics covering physical health, such as confined space entry and rescue, as well as mental health, with workshops focused on workplace harassment and conflict.
