Safety doesn’t need to be complicated. In fact, here at the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM), we believe safety should be practical and accessible.
So for example, when you’re verifying site-specific safety requirements under the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and Regulation, why would you spend minutes of your valuable work day searching and skimming through hundreds of pages of text, when you could have the answers you need right at your fingertips?
That’s exactly why CSAM is launching our official app this fall. In the CSAM app, we’ve broken down 20 topics from Manitoba’s WSH Act and Regulation into plain, easy-to-read language, and we’ve included resources to help you better understand and implement the necessary requirements. The app will still contain the full Act and Regulation but will offer a more practical approach to navigating and understanding it.
Once you have downloaded the app, you won’t need Wi-Fi or cellular data, so you can access this information even if you are working on a site with poor cell reception.
Here at CSAM, we ARE safety. If you need help or have questions about safety in your workplace, give us a call at 204-775-3171 — we’ll help you find the answers you need.
The official CSAM app will be available for free this fall from the App Store and Google Play.
