Practical Solutions for a Safer Workplace
Disability management are the policies, procedures and practices to support early intervention post-injury and communication and coordination of care with health-care providers for timely return to work, including education and accommodation in and after return to work to support staying at work. This is a resource page to help you develop disability management practices to facilitate return to work at your jobsite.
Course Length: One day (8 hours) A certificate from the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba will be issued upon completion. The day will be spent focusing on key points of interaction between WCB, Employers and Workers including rate setting/managing costs, reporting injuries, decision-making, dispute resolution, claims management and the benefits of return to work programs.
