It’s that time of year again! The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) proudly announces that nominations are now open for the 2025 Construction Safety Award of Merit. This prestigious award honours individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to safety and health within Manitoba’s construction industry.
Do you know someone who:
- Goes above and beyond to ensure a safe working environment?
- Advocates for the well-being of their team?
- Embodies the values of workplace safety in everything they do?
Award Criteria
To be eligible for the Construction Safety Award of Merit, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Employment: Candidates must be employed with an automatic member company of the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM).
- Commitment to Safety: Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all workers. This includes the identification, communication, and control of hazards.
- Advocacy: Candidates must act as advocates for their fellow workers, promoting a culture of safety and health in the workplace.
This award is open to any individual working for a construction company, not just those in safety-specific roles. Whether they are safety officers, safety advisors, NCSO®s, or hold any other position, if they champion workplace safety, they are eligible for nomination.

Recognition
The winner will be recognized at The Safetys Gala, taking place on November 5, 2025, at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre. This special evening brings together safety leaders across Manitoba to celebrate outstanding achievements in workplace health and safety.
