Despite commitments to “strengthen our province-wide culture of workplace health and safety” in the recently released Five Year Plan for Workplace Injury and Illness Prevention, the province just announced that it will not follow through on its own policy, requiring all contractors and subcontractors to be COR™ or SECOR™ certified when bidding work on provincially funded projects.
