Last week Manitoba reached a record of COVID-19 cases in the province, which comes as a reminder that we must remain diligent about safety practices amid the pandemic.
The Construction Safety Association of Manitoba invites you to once again review our COVID-19 Best Practices for Construction Sites document to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The document gives you in-depth guidelines for safe work practices including information on hygiene practices, tips for project orientations, and practices for common spaces such as lunchrooms or project trailers.
Additionally, if your job requires you to carry out work in an occupied space, for example if you’re called to work in a client’s house, we recommend that you review our resource document, Guidance for Performing Work in Occupied Spaces Amid COVID-19.
If you have any questions or concerns about implementing these practices at your workplace, give us a call and speak to a safety advisor at 204-775-3171 in Winnipeg or 204-728-3456 in Brandon. You can find more COVID-19 resources on our dedicated page.
